I’m gettin there , have a guy from my area with a beautiful more door 40 ford ,351 Windsor super nice, was admiring my 40 at a show a couple weeks back . Gave him Brett’s info , think he’s coming regardless if we go together or not , I’m leaning that way , will see , thanks for the nudge ,plus Been talking to Dale ,

I am amped up to be heading down in a few days! If anyone can join us, please do! This is my favorite event of the year.

 

Wish I was parking next to you again but can't be there this year. We are heading out in the morning for a 10 day campout with our Model T Bum's group in the Deschutes National Forest, then home for 3, then off again to south east Oregon and edge of Idaho with T's for 10 more days, then home for 3 days and off again for a couple more days on the west side of the Cascade Mountains in Oregon.

I know you guys will have a good time!

Yes , I’m officially a “ party pooper “ had big intentions in August and booked the room ,got the days off from my little part time job , then got the bright idea to have my 3 twos redone and then pulled the intake cause it was nasty looking , carbs are back , intake still missing in action , cancelled my room yesterday , no excuses just poor planning on my part. Enjoyed myself 2 yrs ago when I made it down, then last yr it was the vibration from the torque tube bearing which took forever to pinpoint and get fixed and while that was apart had some more refreshing ,replacing, repairing completed , no vibration smooth again , looks good sitting in the garage but not where the ol girl does here best , sorry Brett, “ the ol gray mare ain’t what he used to be.”

My daughter had some neat cookies made for my birthday yesterday, thought they were ceramic or something for the garage , and my to new 72

Shirt and magnets ordered

 

Man, oh, man...I am glad I reached out to B-Scott this morning. They were thinking the event was the following weekend, so I was about to have an event without the t-shirts. Printing today and in the morning, will be on the UPS truck tomorrow, and at my house on Friday.

I will more than likely be ordering more shirts after the event, so if anyone wanted one but missed out on ordering, I will be able to make those happen.

Perfect day for a run up to Crane! The Walnut Grove restaurant is now Five Oaks BBQ and I sampled the ribs, pulled pork, texas beef sausage, slaw and baked (these are really great) beans. All good. There was even some bluegrass pickin' downtown and lots of antique shops for the Mrs. Here are my photos of the day
