Cruising the net and I often go to a site Deuces & 40's. Lately there's been this Bitchin Green full fendered, chopped, in the dirt pickup on there. Does anyone know who's it is. He deserves kudo's for the truck.

That’s a cool truck and look close as it’s got some neat stuff like a 1940 steering box /column

I have always wondered and this is probably a stupid question but here goes. On a fendered hot rod like this where it looks like there isn’t any room between the tops of the tires and the fenders do they limit the suspension down travel to almost nothing to keep the tires from hitting the fenders?

May not be the case but I've seen the use of a ratchet strap for a photo shoot to get em down, decades ago attended the unveiling of the Pontiacs 1964 product line & observed the GTO's & a few other youthful cars were ratcheted for a more aggressive stance. Yeah! even back then, some G.M. type exec's. were noticing the younger trend was getting them down in front & in some cases up in the rear, anything to appeal to the masses.
