  3. @Blake 27 -

Great pics! ... Thanks for sharing!

... and thanks a ton for the pics of my 2022 "Deuce Bruce" Olson Memorial Award pick ... i.e., the "Anvil" gray, Nailhead-powered, chopped Deuce Fordor Hiboy Sedan owned by Don Sangster & built by John Barbero (Pyramid Street Rods)..

Although I took lots of pics of it on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday ... my iPhone battery died when I went to take some snapshots of it today (Sunday).

The "Indian" is a Kawasaki Drifter 800, but very nicely done.

Was thinking I'd be saying what a cool deuce roadster, coupe, sedan, etc. not this time, that 1940 Chevy Suburban Carryall is the best of the bunch in my opinion.

    Oh my!!!

I went thru and edited out pictures of cars with off topic large diameter wheels and EFI and billet steering wheels... come on man you know better don't you?

OOPS! My bad. I got so caught up in the quality of the builds, I failed to edit my own posts.
It probably gets pretty old fixing others peoples non HAMB pictures. I'll be more careful in my future posts.
Thanks for not deleting the entire thread.

Here's a few non-award winners that really caught my eye.
Starting with my friend Mike Williams new A Bone build.

Went on Sunday and it was very lightly attended. We registered Sunday at about 11am and were car 2502. Unless they screwed up on their numbering that's about 1000 cars light for this show, not to mention a 35th anniversary. I heard Saturday was packed spectator wise but it seemed like the car count was really low...

Attendance was down a bit. I think gas prices, lingering Covid effects, and a Western area heat wave, all contributed.
Sundays are typically pretty laid back with a lot of people getting an early start heading home. I left the fairgrounds
about 11:00 in order to beat some of the heat. All in all, still a great show that will continue to get better. The
Goodguys run a well organized event.
