So, the reason I can't find a nice Model A coupe is that they are all in England? ;) Really nice video, thanks.

  5. I think most of those were part of the WW II Lend-Lease agreement. We loaned them to you, now we want them back!! That... or lots of your fish and chips!!

Run by the vhra. Held at Prescott Hill Climb circuit, in Gloucestershire, England. Venue is owned by the Bugatti Owners Club ( I think) and is quality, old timey feeling place set in beautiful countryside. A vintage steam train chugs through the distant trees from time to time. Takes place over the August summer holiday weekend with track action on Sunday only. Open to members only and spaces are limited. Not sure about the spectator situation but there's not too many. I've done it twice and had a truely fab time.

I'd love to make the trip over some day, for this event and others.

Went to England in March. There are some truly devoted car lovers there. One thing I noted that was different-safety requirements- those guys in the RPU running up the hill had nothing! Here in the states there would have been a helmet, fire suit, rollcage and no passenger! The price we pay for living in a highly litigious country.

Because it was a non "Race" event it was allowed , what tends to happen in a "sanctioned" event is people are more competitive and push the boundaries that more, we had a great time without being "silly", now go to Pendine and that's a different ball game altogether....
