Ron Myers passing... Such a loss, he was a great guy and a tremendous talent! Rest in peace, Ron... L to R... Mick Bryan & Ron Meyers...
OH ! What terrible news. Ron has done so much striping for me in the many years past he is going to be SO missed. RIP Ronnie
Condolences to the Myer's family and friends in Ron's passing...time keeps on moving, we are unfortunately not able to keep up with it...these Artists are certainly an important part of the Culture...may he rest in peace... Thanks for sharing this unfortunate loss to the Community @1stGrumpy... Regards, Stogy
Back at the 2014 Stray Kat 500, Ron stopped me and told me he loved my '40 coupe, but that it was missing something very important. I told him I hadn't decided what I wanted on the deck lid and he told me he knew EXACTLY what it needed. I'm thankful to have had him do his thing on the deck lid, and always appreciated visiting with him when I was over in Dewey.
We met Ron at the First StrayKat 500 that we attended. Had him do the hood on our '46. Super nice guy, RIP!
Man, what is going on? Seems like we are losing way too many great folks lately. The last time I talked to Ron was at the Leadsled a few years ago and we were talking about scroll style pinstriping. He said he was never real good at it and that Kaska was the best at it. He may have been right, but we all got a good chuckle out of that 'cause Ron was a magician with the sword brush. I always wanted to have him throw some lines on something for me but we never could seem to get a session coordinated. Definitely my loss. My deepest condolences go out to Ron's family, friends and all the striping fans that admired his work and loved him. He will be missed! Vaya con Dios Mr. Myers..........E
