pretty sure this was the 18th annual show. I have probably gone to the last 8. these shows are 90% finished cars, these Bomb guys do not mess around driving unfinished cars.
Those are some seriously cool, kick ass rides ! Not a bad one in the bunch. Thank you for sharing your excellent photographs.
.. I took these with my phone. my "vintage" Cannon with a $500.00 lens (20 years ago) does not take pics with color this good. "it's all about the glass" is no longer true.
Jeeeeez, loving all those accessories on the cars. Could fill quite a few swapmeet tables with all that fancy stuff
I appreciate you posting those pics. Love hot rods and Bombs are second on my list (I'm 50:50 rod/restore). I’ve always know Chevy was king in that world but I’m happy to see so many Buick’s as well as the Plymouth and that wee little VW. I’d love to see some ‘42-48 Buick bombs! I guess for some reason Mr. Ford never really caught on in that world...LOL
You sir have excellent taste in fine automobiles. I was going to post that this was my favorite car at the show.. THAT GRILLE!!! a guy could hang that above the fireplace along with a slice of the fenders and hood.
I bought a 49 Chevrolet sedan from a guy who was in the "Royal Cruisers" car club, he said he would get the stink eye from the other guys because he had the car for 7 years and never cherried it out.
This is one of my favorite things about living in The Bay Area! When the weather is good the parade is nearly endless!
