I have often wondered if car dealers got rid if hard to sell cars like Impalas with 6's on elderly customers. I cannot conceive of others buying 6cyl big Chevys other than fleet buyers after the 55 V8's were introduced.
Interesting the policeman who turned up to the crash was a constable called Dave Dee. Who was later in the famous British 60's group Dave Dee, Dozy, Becky, Mick & Tich.
