Event Coverage Symco 2022

Symco week is upon us. The weather forcast looks dry with temps in the low 80s. Perfect. Get ready for bands; pinup contest; cars; swap meet; mini bike races; vintage camping and new for this year nitro. I will have the nitro car on the property for burnouts and fire ups. This is the best show of the year hands down. Its something you have to see to believe.

 

Plan on driving up and back on Saturday, need to get some miles on my 66 wagon and I'll have to park in the VIP lot for cars newer than 64. Weather looks good.

How is the weather holding up ?

 

Its not.

 

I did make the call for all of the nitro fire ups and the super sketchy burn out. Most have never been around a nitro car and it showed. You dont watch from down wind.

Well a few do on purpose. The newbees that got up close for a big deep breath didnt last long.

 

I missed the Nitro eye burning demonstration, but a guy I was camping with didn't. He couldn't stop talking about feeling the car's power in his chest, and feeling the Nitro in his lungs & eyes. Awesome!
