So, couldn't find anyone to ride with you eh. :)

Just kidding, that's got to be quite a sight seeing you driving the Rambler. Probably lost on much of the general population unfortunately, but then so is much of our hobby.

Actually, Jim from Sierra Vista, AZ
This weekends predicted high for Phoenix is 107 Degrees F. This weekends predicted high for Sierra Vista is 91 Degrees F. Living on the edge of the mountains makes a difference.

Cool that they picked one that doesn't pump for your photo spot.

How'd it smell out there? Like money?

I made it to the hotel in sacramento. only missed one check point, the cruise ship, it was a 3 hour side trip that I didn't want to take at 10 pm.

car was missing some going uphill, pulled the plugs, they were not fouled, but they do look pretty lean. I have a richer jet for the 1904 carb, but don't know if I want to mess with it, since it's still running. could also be points, condenser, oily plug wires, or a whole bunch of other things too.

oil consumption is holding at one qt per 300 or so miles. which I can live with just fine.

a 3 cyl 2 stroke saab is a really slow car! like an MG TD. Ugh. Makes the rambler feel like a race car when I'm following it.

LMAO. Only Jim would have the parts to re-jet an obscure Holley carb;):D.
