Hi experts. I need to know if any other vehicles use the same gas tank as a 61-64 full size Chevy car. Maybe Buick, Olds, Pontiac, or Cadillac? My Hollander books only go back to 1970, so I need some assistance.

    Thx,

I don't have a hollander book but my research says the 61-64 belair, biscayne and impala use a gm31 tank. They range in price from like $138(rockauto) -$180(amazon). tried to do a generic search for the gm31 tank and all sites I came up with didn't list what they interchange with.

tried to look up the same year cars in the makes you posted above also but cannot find any replacement tanks for those ones available at rockauto to see if the tank numbers matched.

Found another at carid for $177 and they claim the gm31 tank only fits the cars I mentioned above 61-64 belair, biscayne and impala only.

Not sure if this goes with what your asking, but some times the tank is the same, what changes is the fill spouts location.
