Hot Rods Searching For Breeder's 53

Hello! It has been a while since touching base here. Most of you know that my husband, Breeder-Todd Reed- passed away December 5, of this last year. Breeder was a frequent traveler here years ago and approx. 8 years ago he sold his 1953 Chevy Bel Air and a lot of his connections were through the HAMB. I figured it can't hurt to try to find it, we would love to purchase it but if that is not an option, I would completely understand, we would love to invite it to attend the Rust Revival-Goodbye Breeder Car Show being held next June 10, 2023. If any of you might have any info on where this car may have ended up, I would appreciate it if you could pass it my way. Todd would of course know, but that would be too easy. He always had a way of making things difficult for me Thank you for your time- Breederswife

So sorry for your loss. I never met Todd in person but heard lots of good things about him as well as knew him from here. Praying you can locate the car and get it back.

 

Shana, I remember you posting a heart warming thread about Todd being saved and that he had been baptized, I know you will be reunited once again with Todd some day, for now I hope someone locates the car and you can make a deal on it or at least get the owner to bring it to the show.

Probably much more rewarding than fixing an exploded toilet. Nice to know that the boss is on it! With the power of the HAMB lets hope the car turns up ASAP.

A bump for good luck. Was the car sold locally in the MO. area? If so, hoping any surrounding area HAMBers can get the word out at a grass roots level. Perhaps print a "Wanted" sheet with the 53 photo/open invitation and tape it to a high visibility location such as the "trophy table" at their local cruise nights...
