Thanks, it's got an 80's economy Maaco paint job that's hiding some demons for sure...but as long as they stay hidden for a time I'll be happy haha.
If I remember I will share a photo sans-visor later.

  2. ....Looks great and I'm liking the visor myself. Nothing wrong with the small caps either. The lowering looks perfect.

No I haven't taken any, it's bone stock and in amazingly nice shape considering. Has a blue fun fur front cover over the factory seat I should take off but I've been lazy haha. Door panels are pretty dirty though, I need to take the time to attempt a good cleaning.
For being a Styleline Deluxe I'm surprised it'd got a factory radio delete and rubber front mat but carpet rear.

  6. But that's from the old days... when you could order what you wanted instead of a 'package'! Probably ordered by a guy who wore muddy shoes and talked to himself so didn't need a radio.

Nice score! Very few of those who posted earlier on your thread aren’t even around anymore.;)
IMO the visor looks good and the stance is spot on,could change the whole look with a wheelcover swap. Enjoy!

I'm flattered. Now all it needs is a Vikings plaque on the package tray.

I don't like to post cars that aren't the ones in the thread subject, but I think this is called a hardtop coupe. At least that's what we always called them.

I'm getting there, just need to grab a meter or so of black faux fur for the package tray first.

How did you manage to get the front that slammed but still align correctly and not have the wheels camber in? Mine is 4.5" drop and at the absolute max I could still get it aligned. Running 6.70-15 Firestones.

I cut the coils a couple of times trying to get it lower. Then I found they had dropped spindles so I bought a set and installed them. I think the only thing beyond that was that I had VW tires on the front (5.60 x 15?). I also had to cut the rubber snubbers to give the springs a little travel.

PS: You have to remember they didn't have "Speed Bumps" in the 50's. My Studebaker is also low and I have to be very careful because the crossmember will scrape. I don't have a way to raise it up either (read my tag line).
