I found this edsel listed for sale on the net. The car was located about 1.5 hours away at a storage unit were it has been sitting for the past five years. I live in Canada and it turns out the owner lives in states. I contacted him and made arrangements to go look at the car, after viewing the car I quickly made a deal. The car turned out to be a very rare (at least in Canada) 2 dr hardtop v8 332, 3 speed auto powered ps pb car. The car has been lowered, dual 59 impala antennas, 59 cruiser skirts, vintage moon disks, shaved handles and the seats and dash have been tuck and rolled. What do you think ? ad_1657245378731.jpg ad_1657245392435.jpg ad_1657245385412.jpg ad_1657245407392.jpg

I know of a fellow nearby that must have 15-20 edsels on his property.
If you need a contact let me know, I may be able to get it.
    Cool car.

Thanks for all the positive comments. Edsels you either love them or hate them. There rarely seen around here. Kudos to the builder

I haven't had a chance to chance to check it over yet. The engine has been rebuild and the exhaust still shines. Duals with smitty glass packs

Great looking car. Enjoy. They only built 5400 2 door hard top rangers. It’s usually nice having the only Edsel in a car show. But we like the rare things around my house. Enjoy the car.

  18. No doubt. However, my son took his car to a show recently that only had around 500 cars and there were 4 Edsels. That never happens other than at a show like the Stray Kat 500...

Such a sweet car. My taste would be sans skirts and with chrome rims but that's purely a personal choice.

Man that rig is " EL SWANKO-MATIC "
I like everything about it, somebody really loved that car!
Please share the back story on why it was sitting in storage for so long? I would love to hear the story about the " quickly reached deal " Just curious about its current value, so pardon me for asking what the final price was?
    Thanks for sharing the photos!

That was an unusually heavily loaded Ranger from the factory. I like it, I've got one as well.
