Come on @LOWDUG37 show the rest of them. Everything he has built is perfect in my book. Make it the LOWDUG37 thread!

I love 56’s but this one does nothing for me.
Maybe it’s because I’m tired of the black with black wheels and tires just too over done.
Time to turn the page on that combo.

1001 people, 1001 personal preferences, I dig it as is!
Back in the early 70's when I had my 57 BelAir 2 dr. hdtp they were the end all car for me.
Then it was the 57 one-fifty (still want one) but now it's the 55 two-ten that I lust after.
The 56's were never really on my radar until the eighties when I came real close to buying a 56 DelRay from a fellow worker, he had been waffling on selling it and when he did decide to sell it another fellow worker beat me to it, said he bought it for his dad who only had a short time to live, he had one as a teen, was near perfectly stock and original.
I wanted it pretty bad, especially after I missed out on it.......time marches on!

I've seen other shots of the '56 and have commented on what a perfect build it is. I've been a '55 Delray fan since '63 when I bought my first one but Doug's 150 is my favorite '56. Wouldn't change a thing.

  13. The 56 is the best looking of the tri 5s.
It’s weird how we all look at things different.

    Both cars are killer.
Ya look cars and say, I dig it but I’d ……..this and that
    Mmmmmmm, wouldn’t change a thing

Timeless look on those cars by knowing when to “stop”
It’s something I’ve strived to build into my cars. These cars “nailed” it IMO.

I feel fortunate to own his 40 Ford coupe, the grey one that I post on anniversary 40's. Sorry that the picture rotates. tempImagequW3yM.png

You said if perfectly. By keeping that “mostly” factory stock look, this hot rod looks like it was built in about 1962. I love it!

Fixed your pic. I like every one of them. There looks to be a lot of thought in the details of each build. Screenshot_2022-07-07-20-48-16~2.png

Subtlety is where it's at. To the uninitiated, this just looks like a nicely kept old car. To those in the know it's...it's...Wow, just wow. Understated perfection. As an old friend used to say, "Cleaner then a broke-dick dog."

    Absolutely bitchin.
I tried to stick with the minimalist theme with my ‘56 210 as well. Chevy did such a nice job of styling those cars that they don’t need to be messed with, just a little clean up and some tasty details. I bought the same black and white factory interior for mine but it sold before I got it installed.
Makes me regret selling mine, but I guess we all tend to move on to the next dream.
