The movie is great as is the music and cars.

If they did, they dirtied it up a bunch and made changes.
It was being driven by the character playing Hank Snow Jr.

But the car has a couple cool scenes at the start.

It was filmed entirely on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia......... Yes, apparently all of it.

We should switch are search engine Im surprise that Google still allows Hot Rods to pop up that are not Electric!!!

 

My wife gave me the choice of watching a movie about Elvis or having a kidney removed...... so far I'm doing fine on one!!

I had the same choice. Went to the movie. Should have done like you.

 

Guess there were enough imported LHD classic cars to make the street scenes look like U.S.A. then.

I’m pretty sure the purple 55 Eldo is a Brisbane car.
The owner lives in a similar house to Graceland with the 4 big pillars out front.
I do remember the call going out looking for suitable cars.
I used to do quite a lot of 30s,40s, 50s prop hire for the local movie industry. Neon signs etc. It’s a transient scene though. All these creative people come together, make a movie and then scatter in the breeze. Did nothing on the Elvis movie though.
I haven’t seen it yet. Guess I don’t leave my shed enough these days. I have a couple of contacts who will know whose Roadster was used.

Well. A movie about Elvis.

 

Going to see it today. Three hour session.Better pee before I go in.

 

It was not that roadster. It was a 29 not 32.

 

I was thinking A but then doubted myself after posting this.

I stand corrected. I was sure he had said it was in the movie in his for sale ad. Disregard and enjoy the photos of the 32 anyway
