How far is the steering column drop from the driver side door? Anyone?

    Thanks - Farrell

Sit in the seat, and hold the steering wheel and column up… then move it forward and back… where it feels right is in the ball park. A lot depends on the seating position!

Centered on the two bolt holes on the bottom of the dash.

Here's a dimension from the center of the dash to the center of the steering column on a stock 32.
    10"
On a sedan the dimension from the left edge of the dash to the center of the steering column is also 10"

On my 3 window coupe, I have the steering column 10 1/4" from the centerline of the car. Like alchemy said it's close to the two bolt holes on the bottom of the dash.

I had to move my column 3/4 “ to the center, and run a smaller wheel !!!

Thanks All. I have an aftermarket steel dash and it does not have the holes already in place.

    Thanks again.
