I know most collectors do not sell their stuff but...How about it @Moriarity ? Black, straight at the cap, 90 at the plug. Want to sell a set, message me. How cool would it be to have an item from the Moriarity Collection on my Hot Rod

Hell I would give you a set and was going to offer them up but they are all straight ends at the plug and I saw that your car has headers so they won’t work....

The unglamorous side of Hot Rodding. Removed three mouse nest's today. One in the headliner, one under the driver's seat, and pictured is one under the back seat. Not unexpected considering it sat in a barn for 12 years. Just put in a 12 hour day tearing down the interior and scrubbing and disinfecting every inch. Wife just gave me a thumbs up on the sniff test so we're good. Time for a beer, I'm beat

Getting the Plymouth on the road and My T Coupe Project sold, then it's back on the 62. It has not been forgotten.

Sure wish people would turn their cell phones sideways when doing pics and videos! Makes for a full screen instead of a skinny window.
    Car is coming along great!

Good grief what a difference a set of wheels & tires make, right? Are you thinkin' a little lower stance and lower headlight mounts? Just a thought... That's a cool lookin' rig ya got there!

Thanks and absolutely. You should have seen it with the Race Car looking wheels and the N-50's:eek:. She's screamin for a dropped axle and the headlight placement could definitely be improved. The headlight mounts look like a plow frame.
The plan for now is to knock the 1980 off of her and get her up and running. Probably keep her as a Survivor for a while and then make a plan. So much I didn't like about the car is growing on me.

  13. I think you should have no problem defending those tail lights, thanks for allowing us along on your journey.

Yea, I looked at that. All the welds on the car look good. The car also shows signs of having some miles on her. But...you can bet the first few rides will be at low speeds and close to home.

Hated the tail lights at first but they're really growing on me. Something different for sure. Thanks for checking out my thread.

Could throw front fenders on and Gasser it but I'm thinking it's going to end up with a Dropped Axle

It will probably be expensive if done correctly. Chrome shops are becoming less and less because of EPA rules.

I made a little more progress. Hauled her into the shop for some much needed brake work. The car was built in the 70's and sat 12 years in a barn before I got it. Master is locked solid as is all 4 wheel cylinders and the rubber lines are blocked solid:eek:. First thing in the morning I'll go piss off the guy at NAPA, ha-ha.

That looks like a early 70s ford four wheel drum master cylinder.

Thanks. Gonna take her back to the 60's without destroying her soul. As soon as I get brakes we'll see how she drives. After that it gets an engine makeover
