Technical Shoebox to Chev clutch linkage

    Are there any Chevrolet bell housings that have the clutch arm other than 9 o'clock....like maybe 7 o'clock. Having trouble getting linkage to connect from floor boards (shoebox) to Chev bellhousing at 9 o'clock. The clutch arm has to come straight back.

    64-67 ChevyII/Nova has the 7:00 opening, the V-8 versions have gotten pretty $$$ though.

    I should add that the first gen. 4/6 cyl. belhousing has a smaller transmission pilot hole.

    I was thinking that there were only 2 sizes of holes for the bearing the standard size and the truck size. Those that work with a V8 bellhousing that is.

    Here is a bellhousing on Ebay right now, not exactly cheap compared to a regular aluminum bellhousing but not totally outrageous either.
