  1. Not on my truck, but does this count? Haven't seen to many of the Brass "Alliance Member " tags

Just returned from an 1800 mile trip on I-89 to Iowa and back and didn't see this lady on a single mudflap. Times change. I am reasonably certain that with one wife, three daughters and three granddaughters, you won' find this topper on my car:)

  17. Ok, I’ll play. Here’s a few that I have stashed around. The Ski-Hi is my favorite. It’s from the local apple orchard. They had these done sometime in the 1930s, and still had a few NOS ones stashed away. I was able to talk the owner into selling me one.

I have a C.W.A tag, and a V.F.W. that I have to dig out. In the meantime, for your viewing pleasure...:

Guy on Ebay had these NOS. Must have for obvious reason. Bought two, one lives on the Willys, one lives in a shop display case.

    Hello,

One of the best photos my wife took was of a Ford Convertible at an old vintage home/car show location in the Big OC. It was a surprise to see the series of photos. I did not go to the event, as it was a “sister’s” event, but my wife thought I would like the photos she took. Especially, the one hot rod, she almost bought at the time of the photos.

When she got home, she could not wait to show me the photos. I was impressed with the non-digital camera, but Iphone photos. She also told me she wanted to buy that grey convertible and did not have her checkbook with her. Luckily, it was not for sale, but would have been a costly purchase. It was pristine.

The topper seems to be a Canadian leaf. Either they like the Maple Leaf Hockey Team or they are Canadian.

My wife has always like convertibles, but knows the impracticality of owning a convertible for daily driving. The checkbook was resting at home nicely, waiting for a rainy day... good thing it was bright, hot, and sunny on that hot rod photo shoot day.

I designed and produced that Topper about 10 years to acknowledge our group of goofy old men, from Canada and the U.S., who enjoy each others' company at various events and on the road.

My small collection. I'm not sure if the NJ State Policeman's Association one started out as a tag topper, but my grandfather had it mounted on the package shelf of his cars at least since the mid 60s. He was the chief in Hillsdale, NJ. topper1.JPG topper3.JPG topper2.JPG

This one was at an auction. I would have loved to have it on a car, but it went for $125. IMG_9952.JPG
