I know what you're all thinking, you're thinking "we need more roadster photos", right? OK, here you go:

This blue 32 in the next couple of photos belongs to fellow HAMBer @32Dan , really a sweet ride.

This 32 RPU was built and owned by HAMBer @hotroddon (former AMBR contender)

  4. Guy I usually don’t take note of price for stuff I’m not looking for.
Also I don’t think the swap space loophole works anymore as I believe you only get one wristband with a space.

Like I said it was a good time. Weather was perfect Friday morning. Less people is good. Lots of parts and lots of cars.
    be there next year.

Later on Friday afternoon the guy with the IH parked it in line with our trucks, I thought it made a cool shot. Ford (30), Chevy (31) & IH (35). w/ @armymike DSC_5673.JPG

I figured you want the show to succeed. I get the traveling to and from, you probably saw I had about a 1250 mile drive to north of Seattle. Let’s continue to build and support this show so we don’t see it go away

Blues4U, Your coverage is one of the best ever of our LARS. Great composition and color, you shot many cars that I missed on both days. Thanks for the excellent coverage. Ron

Awesome photos, thanks. Been 15 years since I last went.
Question. There looks like quite a few 32 roadster pickups at the show, I assume these are all Brookville bodies? Any genuine ones there?

I didn’t see every car, but did see quite a few. Did not see any 32 FoMoCo RPU’s .
Normally though Jim Gordon brings his 32 RPU Bodied 1934 FoMoCo pick up. Yes I said 34. It’s a long story, but told elsewhere in R&C by “Yer Ol Dad” Gray Baskerville back in the mid 90’s. We did the work on the cab.

Thanks man, I got tired of posting roadsters all in a row, so I changed it up and posted the dragsters they had there for display, they fired 'em up a couple of times each day so everybody could hear 'em cackle. Still more photos to go through.

Your pics are great! I haven't been back to LARS since 2006. I need to go again! Thanks for the continued incentive!

P2420225_26_27_28_29_30_31.jpg P2420442_3_4_5_6_7_8.jpg Great coverage of the LAR Exhibition, Blues. I started the swap section at 8 AM Friday and walked for 5 hours with a break for a chili dog at Pink's stand. I had thought I saw everything. I was wrong, you spotted a whole lot more. My favorite was the smashed pick up, that had character. Another great piece was the old Ford with the boat tail body kit on display. I wish I could remember the name of the kit. The owner said there were only 100 kits made and who knows how many are existant. Anyone have an idea?

I used to cover shows for HotRodHotLine.com but covid came along and stopped going to shows. I know how time consuming, pains in the ass working around crowds, etc. it is to do this so I just want to say "you did a hell of a good job taking all these great photos".

The boat tail body is a Mercury Speedster body. They are considered the Rolls Royce of speedster bodies. Production was around 1100, last I heard there were 77 survivors.
