Event Coverage Coffee Run Victoria Pt Brisbane Hot Rods only day

Greg puts on the regular monthly coffee run that is open to cars up to 1965 but on a few occasions it is pre 49 hot rods only. Good roll up today and a few fresh cars I hadn't seen before.
First car in the pictures is my 32 roadster that hadn't been out for sometime. Needed the jacket and hat covering the ears for the run down as temps were pretty low(for us) at 10C View attachment 5430703

And the rest. The second picture in this lot is Tommy Fultons radical Salt Shaker running a Don
Ferguson built Ardun head flat head. Tommy has been in rodding for 55 years and is a die hard rodder. He just drove this car to the Event in Tasmania and then on the way back attended the Narranderra run. Took top 10 at both events I think. Over 4500kms(2700miles) driving solo.

That is Gordo's Hupmobile!! I am sure the grille is original and the windscreen also just smaller to suit the chop. It is called AXED 34!! Here is picture of an original car.
I never noticed before that it had 4 mirrors. I guess that gives you an idea
how we have to watch out for other drivers over here.
