    after many decades i am finally going to get back to this model a i have had the body for 50 plus years istarted the frame many years ago but stopped and went drag racing my problem is i have allways built race cars even if i drove them every day but i am looking forward to going 1/8 mile racing with this in the picture it has a 351c in it but it now has a 383 with turbo 3500 a nine inch with 4.1 in it i do love racing this stuff but the journeyi -s great also i am 71 but doing pretty good with luck i will WIN_20220315_07_15_56_Pro.jpg get it out some day

    It is a coupe with the rear removed and a hand build back section constructed.
    From what I know mine is one of two in existenance.
    Got the coupe body for cheap, as the back section was a basket case, so I decided to create a pickup with a little extra legroom.
    Body work was done in Erie CO.
    Its become a long term project, but I will see home base next year I think...

    Chassis can be seen in video link below.

    Been mocked up several years after having to cut away side mounts from the frame due to someone else’s miss calculation’s. Engine is sitting on a 1/2” worth of 1/8” shim’s per support of a Hurst front mount. 2023 should be the year for getting back on this thing. 3B8F6D2D-2BEB-4337-A04C-C6D94A3A4AC9.png

    I dragged out some parts a while back during a clear our / tidy up session to see it there was enough to consider a revamp on my old coupe .. The trouble is I cant bring myself to rip the heart and soul from the old fella.

    @Koz I was VERY skeptical when you said you were removing the top from one of the best looking body styles ever made. Now, I see your vision. Keep it going.
