Tore the bed side up.

 

With all the support I’ve received the decision has been made to rebuild. The engines are going to be hopped up with BIG 97 Stromberg’s, larger matching cams (solid lifters) and raise the compression. With these changes I hope to remove the nitrous

 

Seeing all the damage hurts, but knowing your OK and ready to rebuild makes it a little easier. I hope the rebuild comes fast with few obsticals.

 

Glad to hear you're rebuilding it and especially glad that you guys are ok.

Talked to Rocky last nite on the phone, the Evil Twin has been repaired and will be at Riverdale in Toutle WA this weekend 8/19/23!!!

Last post I saw on his FB page he just got the short blocks assembled, and looked like the chassis was fully done. He's moving faster than his posts if he's making Riverdale by Friday!

 

Not sure he will make Friday, told me Saturday...

Either way, if Rocky makes the run in Riverdale or not this weekend, we'll hear from him shortly. You know he's concentrating on all of his efforts to get EVIL TWIN race ready again! We're all PSYCHED for some photos in due time!

 

Is FB post yesterday said the engines were in the chassis, but just long blocks without intakes and other pieces. He said they're going to load the Evil Twin, and whatever parts aren't on it in the trailer, and may spend Friday finishing assembly at Riverdale to run that day, or Saturday.

 

Recent update:
Rocky posted pictures of the Evil Twin completely assembled, and ready to load into his trailer 5 hrs. ago! Said he was heading out to the drags in a few hours, so guessing he's already on the road now.

 

Is Rocky a dragstrip warrior or what??!! Pics are definitely coming this weekend!

I was there Sat., but never saw him make a pass? Not sure when he got it going, or made his first pass?

 

Val, Rocky ran a little after four, what a fantastic pass ! My Nephew Ken filmed the event on Saturday, with a drone and hand held movie camera. He interviewed Rocky and the new owners of the facility. He is a pro with a camera of any kind, and is putting together a documentary on vintage racing of cars and motorcycles. I think he will make a stand alone YouTube piece on this race, and will post it here.

 

Well shoot, I was hoping to see it run but didn’t think it was going to happen. I left around 3 or so. Looking forward to the video
