Wow, that's Rita Rider's '56 Buick! Never saw it with the flames before. Great pic Bullet Nose, thanks for sharing! We covered this car over on the "What Ever Happened To..........?" thread way back in July of 2017. It was feature car #70. I'll include a link for those that may be unfamiliar with Rita's cruiser. @PasoJohn posted a shot of her Harley and the Buick with the flames back when you posted it on W.E.H.T.

 

This car was originally built by a younger guy Dave who lived up here. It had sombreos, skirts and lake pipes on it when he sold it. He's a member here but I can't remember his handle.

I think it still lives here in Lake Havasu City, AZ, but I haven't seen it for awhile.

I would laugh at the info card Craig would display with it and the fact that it had something like $6,000 worth of bondo in it.

 

You're right, I went back and found the picture. I see so many pictures of customs I can't always seem to remember what I saw. Getting old I guess..........E
