Event Coverage Scrap Drive

Anyone attend the Scrap Drive yesterday in Belvidere,Il?

 

...I was there all day, great turnout even tho the weather looked iffy, (only a few sprinkles for about 5 minutes at around 2:30pm)...I'll post some pics later today.
note next year's date below.

 

Great show and thanks Sam and your club members for putting on such a great show. The weather was good swap was big and good and some amazing cars . I wish I would have taken some pictures…

 

I was there from about 9 to about 230. Was thinking about heading out when the drizzle started. Took the scenic route down IL2 to Dixon, in the rain for most of it, on the way home.

Had a good time. Some cool cars, a decent swap meet, got a few treasures and project parts, and they even had a really good live band playing.

 

Here’s a cool oddity. A 55 Ford Ute from Australia.
