The thing I hate most about getting older is realizing how many of the old speed shops, engine building machine shops and stores that were around for over 40 or 50 years are now gone. In many cases, these were great business that just slowly died for many reasons. I see this same thing starting to happen with many great old drag strips going out of business. When someone asks me why this is happening, I tell them that in my opinion, peoples interest are simply changing. Jimbo
this gave me flashbacks to riding my home made chopper bike through the ditch in front of my house as a kid. the front came up , the (friction fit) forks departed the front slammed down ,and i face planted over the ape hangers into the front yard , thus ending my chopper days
