There was a whole lot of shaking going on with the rear end bodywork, maybe there's a connection?
But that's what shakedown runs are for..:)

Burnouts don't really work at Pendine....:D

Just joking, for those who've never been there, these are actually made by a tractor to mark out the public parking areas on the beach between tides.

No because I didn't even try to enter it, as I'm not sure if it's ready for Pendine yet. I have it booked in for other events this summer for shake downs . I'll update my thread if anything remotely encouraging happens!

15psi oil pressure, is that normal for a flathead at speed?

On my roadster? 40 psi cold idle 20psi hot idle. Runs 40-50 psi at speed with 0.0025 rod and 0.0025-30 main clearances using 0/30 Mobil 1.

Just thought it odd that the guy driving in vid said he was running at 15psi which he seemed content with how it was running. I assume that was hot oil.

  28. Some random shots from the Pendine weekend.

A damp 300 miles cross country journey. Plenty of stops for fuel, food and the hell of it so it took 13 hours.[IMG]

    That beach.

Sixteen cylinders all in a row.

This is the view from the timing tent. Course was still a tad damp.

Flag girl changeover - my daughter joined me for the weekend.

    And caught some rays.

My son, the coding guru, also joined in to set up the trap and run the timing software.

  30. @hotrodfil I sure like your coupe on the A chassis.... the fenders make it look 'right', like Ford could have made it!
