Event Coverage Aces CC Hot Rod Resurrection 18 - May 21, 2022

Went to this show over the past weekend here in So Cal, held at Old World in Huntington Beach, a touristy type faux German town, that makes for a great backdrop for photos. I love this annual show, it attracts a ton of great traditional style hot rods and a few customs. Really a fun day. I had to cut out early due to an early evening gig I had, so I wasn't able to stay for the entire event and see the awards, if anyone here knows who won any awards please fill us in, thanks. Anyway, the wife and I took a nice 4 day camping trip this week so I'm finally just now getting around to going through my photos from the show. Here's the first batch, I'll post more up as I get through them.

I've got more. I only post about a quarter of what I take. I go through and choose which ones I want to use, then crop them, do a little editing, shrink 'em and put my watermark on 'em ('cause I've had several other guys save my photos and post them on IG and facebook as their own). So it's a little slow going, plus I have other things to do.....

I'll keep posting more, but give me a little time.

Haha! I know what you mean, I've seen a few videos and photo albums of the show from other guys, and there was like maybe 1 glancing shot of my pickup. It's not like it was tucked out of the way somewhere, it was right there on the main strip...

 

This old Chevy pickup reminds me of my 1930 Model A pickup. HRP

 

OK, I know which one, that was a really well done car, really nice; and I think it's just recently been done. I have some pics of it I'll put up later.
