Been following along; great thread. I would suggest that you take Mr. 48's advice and get the hell off the freeway at Ground Mound. Looks like a nice weekend coming up so the trip should be pleasant. Lynden is a neat town.

My thoughts last night were that that section between Lacy and the 512 exit are a zoo when I am in my 528 BMW let alone putting along in a stock Model A. The road cross country from Grand Mound would be a lot less nerve wracking.

  4. Just pulled into Puyallap and traffic wasn’t too bad. Got some more rain and my vacuum wiper was able to wipe away every 110 drop. Again that is why I have the rain X. I will check on alternate routes around Seattle. Thank you for the suggestion.

So cool that you made it safely to puyallup!
Now the traffic you will encounter can get frustrating!

Once you get past Everett, hopefully the traffic won't be too bad.

    Hey mike.
I assume you have safely made it to Lynden by now?

  10. Well I arrived in Lynden at our new house safe and sound. A little over 1000 miles with no real issues, other than the ones I already listed. Thanks for following along. I also introduced Barb to her daughter Betty my 57 ford wagon. Hopefully, Barb will talk some sense into Betty so she will stop fighting every improvement I try and make. Keep tabs on my ‘finally a long roof’ thread for more updates.
