Hot Rods Can anyone ID this wheel?

Gotta shit load of early stuff we’re taking to Norwich, NY car show, including these old mags. Can anyone ID this particular style wheel. It says DRAG MAG and nothing else.

We always called em Indy mags.

 

14” or 15” ? Bolt pattern?

 

Have 2 , 14 by 6 ,4 1/2 bolt pattern and set of 4 15 by 6 , 4 3/4 bolt pattern.

 

The set of 4 , 15 in wheels do not have the dark centers.

 

Those look like the ones @blowby just picked up at a swapmeet this weekend.

 

I have 4 of the Foresight’s 15x6 4 1/2” bolt pattern .

 

What diameter are the Cragar GT's?

 

Sure do. Mine are marked Indy 500 Speedwheels, and not as offset.

 

Cragar GTs are 15x6. 4 3/4 BC

@El Mirage Garage when is the show? Is it at the fairgrounds?

 

Drag Mags are basically a 10 spoke; i.e. note “hollow” main spoke. Indy 500 Speed Wheels are 5 spoke (note solid black painted area between machined lines). Both by Foresight Ventures.

 

Did they make any wider than 7"?

 

Show is Saturday and Sunday, Memorial Day Weekend at the fair grounds, Norwich NY. Please come and buy some of our stuff!!

 

Not sure. I've personally never seen one wider than 7", and 15" in any width are pretty hard to come by.
