Hot Rods I painted my body today

Your first paint job! Man that looks absolutely perfect. Cudoos to you fella, you did great. Did you paint in a tent or in your garage? Will it require cut/buff?

 

Apparently, Texas air is good for paint jobs.

 

I convert half of my garage into a paint booth of sorts to paint. The paint is pretty nice but I’ll cut and buff it. It’s PPG -DCC single stage.

 

The color is spot-on! Great job!!

 

I remember when the Maherajah waterski ad came out in Hot Rod magazine, the one that had their logo painted on Suzanne Sommers’ upper body. I was a Maherajah “Man” (boy) from that day forward! No pictures, but it did happen!

Very nice. I've always had the best outcome with PPG. Then cut and buff anyway..

What spray gun did you use?

 

I use a DeVilbiss HVLP gun. Can’t remember the model number right now.
