I am guessing this is a rain or shine event? I am not on facebook so I can't see updates.

Weather isn’t looking good. Will they run on the track in the rain. ?

Probably not, but we're bringing the race cars and hang out with friends.

  6. I'm beyond disgusted with this dismal weather pattern we've been stuck in......First, the Jalopyrama suffered from weather (2nd year in a row!) and now this. Hope this doesn't persist every weekend this Summer.

  7. For me it's a rain or shine event. I don't know when I will get this way again.
Hope to see you guys there.
We are driving up from DC today.

Thanks for the update, probably not going to venture out there. Enjoy the meet.

  9. Anyone in the area of Hanover and/ or Lincoln Speedway that can update us on the potential for rain tomorrow and has it been raining a lot today? Thanks.

  10. Rain today was light and spotty.
Tomorrow may be a little worse?

  12. I'll be there around 9ish tomorrow morning in my daily. My 39 is still out of commission.

  13. I will get there by 11.
Tonight it took forever to dry the track at Williams Grove. Finally, hot laps around 9pm. Then the rain light started again. Never got to the first heat before I left.

  14. Tomorrow, low 70's with rain chances fairly low in the morning and increasing in the afternoon.

Sounds better than last Saturday in Easton.

  15. It's wet here in South central PA this morning. A little mist, calling for cloud cover and 10% chance of rain all morning. I'll run over and check out the swap meet in a daily driver.
    Dammit...

  16. well, I driving the '30, it looks like the rain may hold off until 2 or 3 in the afternoon.

  17. Did not rain at my hotel in Mechanicsburg overnight. I'm going to do a quick clean on the rod and then get out to track.
Forecast by @46international above sounds about right.

  18. Not going now. Duty calls at the homestead. At least I can check out a closer show in Kent Island later today. Have fun and post plenty of pics please!

I'm on the track. What a great day!

  20. @Marcia , I saw you run on the track. I never got up the ambition to walk to the tunnel. After racing was ended I saw the tunnel was in turn four, not turn three as announced.
Sorry I missed you. Looked like everyone was having a great time.

  21. No rain at the Showdown (Reunion). Track seemed well prepped for the vintage racers.
I was told the car show was smaller than usual. That is not surprising with the weather this week.
Tomorrow we leave for home. I'm sure my yard needs another mow by now.

  22. .....Safe travels, Phil.

  24. Yes I stayed. It was ok, but not Joey Chitwood quality.

Good help is hard to find.

  26. I hear that those who braved the weather had a good time. It rained off and on all day here near Hershey. No getting the coupe out today. Have a safe trip home Phil.

  29. Arrived home today, yes the grass needed a mow. All taken care of.
Here's a couple photos I grabbed off the Maryland social group.
