    I'd disagree with that.

  3. Jeez, it's a wonder this thing lasted beyond a year, with all that "craftsmanship" and repeatable processes in play. At one point they had EIGHT guys slopping resin on that rear trunk section. And the guy cutting the spare tire piece was NOT following a scribed line! I just hope the guys and gals who assembled my '13 GS 'vert weren't jumping on the rear quarter to join the pieces together... :D

So you had a killer set of magnesium 15x6 Torque Thrusts on the car for some time. Now aluminum Torque Thrust D's. Are they Americans too?

Yep, original issue 15”x6” front and 15”x7” rear. Variety is good!

The 15x7 are the prevalent size but the 15x6 are not so easy to come by. Particularly if they are Americans.

Funny you should say that, I have 8 of the 6”aluminum D’s ; in my stash but only 4 of the 7”and I traded off 2 other 6” to get 2 of the 7”. The 6” are definitely more common around these parts.

I bought 4 nice unmolested 15x6 Torque Thrusts that turned out to be 15x7s when they arrived. Some folks aren't too good at measuring. I'd probably like to trade them but shipping costs are killing things.

A regular sight at L.A. area tracks during the 60s and 70s. Their earlier Willys gasser was painted the same shade of green as well.

Calling all cars, calling all cars...........

If anyone has an original fan shroud for a 1956 Corvette for sale, can you send me a PM? I have a friend that needs one because his car overheats without it. I’m not sure what other years might work. He tried to order a reproduction one bug they are on back order. Thanks fir the help.

Can't imagine how I've missed this one through the years while racing up and down the West Coast. This is a really gratifying transformation!
