Hot Rods Crane sbc cylinder heads

    I'm looking for a crane sbc cylinder head it is stamped b202x on the front. Also I cannot find any info out there. Does someone have one or any info would be much appreciated

    Please post pictures of the intake and exhaust ports... And the combustion chambers... Thanks! :)

    or just move the camera back a bit so we can see all of the end of the head.

    And the casting numbers (both sets) on the top of the head will help, too.

    I expect it's a double hump head that was worked for larger valves and ported

    Crane started with ‘461 and then ‘462 castings, when Chevy produced a better casting then Crane upgraded their heads too. Expand the photo, you can see the pinned studs in these early heads.
    I wanted a set of Fireball heads for my ‘67 Nova in 1969, they just didn’t fit my budget :(

    Not much help on the info, but I have talked with Gene Moody's brother Dale, and he says that those heads with the Algon injection made a big difference on Gene's '55 Chevy.

    Ive got a NOS set of Crane Fireball 292 heads , still wrapped . I can take pics but unwrapping them is not something Id like to do . They may be accounted for . I forgot I had them along with a complete Kinsler injecsystem meant for the same motor which I never used . Still finding stuff from the mid to late seventies .
