"1951 Ford Victoria mild custom with shaved body, aftermarket grille bar, four bar Flipper hubcaps, a great bronze and black scallop paint-job outlined in white."

    Hello,

This is a cool thread title and funny to boot. Nice work... as it goes from history to modern, but still old style scallops.

The 51 Ford Victoria hardtop is a classic example of a cool hot rod from the 1950s era. Clean lines, cool flippers, white walls, and a lowered stance to showcase the cruising style. It was typical of mild custom cars from that era and gave “custom cars” some credibility as they cruised down the roads.

My wife and I are old folks that like hot rods. A 1950 Ford sedan was once our goal, but circumstances beyond our control put that issue to rest. We have always liked the hardtop design. during the times of "no A/C," the windows down on the hardtop design made the full effect of air flow cool everyone down easily. our 58 impala had that same effect with the two door hardtop "open windows" design.

When my wife and I go out for errands and the pandemic blues revitalization cruise, we see this cool Ford Victoria hardtop on the neighboring streets in a coastal city. It is well done and not a garage queen.

As nice as the mild custom Ford Victoria is, I wondered what it would look like if it had some scallops.
Here is a possible future look:

So Cal Scallops Special, nearest the big blue ocean and coastal drives... The Dana Point Harbor is a specialty place for all sorts of presentations of fresh scallops for lunch or dinner...
