replacing the original that has a breather brazed onto it, absolutely covered the right hand rail in oil last time I ran it at Lake Perkolilli

Washed it.. I ain’t in the peoples republic of kalifornia anymore… there are hills here in hucklebuck..steep old road 9% grades..sure is a pretty place though, West Virginia..

That was a quick fix to get back on the track for the last event, still managed about 40mph on the front two pots.



You can really see the mess that breather made in this shot. I've since made a new intake out of steam pipe and hung this one on the wall

 

This weekend I was supposed to track down an oil leak, fix my horn, start planning for a new seat, and settle on mount points for seatbelts...but instead I just went for a long drive.


...and while I work on finding parts for my next motor, I lost patience and one of these showed up...

 

That's a 1950s Series One LandRover roof, looks sorta cool on there.

 

@raaf Not sure if this helps but just fitted seatbelts in my coupe, not sure if its the same for a roadster but having read a Les Andrews book this is where I put mine. When drilling the mounting holes just ensure you have enough flat surface on the back for the large mounting 'washer' to sit flat.



These are belts I used, which I sourced from speedway.

 

I posted this over on the '28 chevy thread. Hersom and Butler Bros. I haven't found much info about it. Olds head and '25 block.

 

The Olds head had much better ports than the Chevrolet.
I don't know about the bottom end, seems strange to mix.
