Jamco or Shoebox central's SBC conversion mounts? These are my only choices unless I go power rack. don't want to go that route though ..
If I remember right, the Nova pan needs a different oil pump pick-up because the sump is further forward. I don't know if that pan will achieve what you want though... When I put a 350/350 in my '49, (30 years ago) I had to notch the oil pan @ the front of where the sump drops down due to tie rod clearance as I recall. I'm thinkin' you'll have a tough time making that 7 quart pan work without having the engine sitting too high in the engine compartment, is that what you're seeing? The character I sold the car to got a dropped tie rod from FatMan with a dropped spindle kit, though after I notched the pan it wasn't necessary. I'm not familiar with the Jamco or Shoebox Central kits, so no input there.
Sorry for the lack of update progress. . Seams that I'm the guy helping what I think are my friends, know one seams to be around when I could use a hand .. I get caught up being the friend I would want have to much. . Project stalled for now. .
