4x2 set-up for SBC

I recall a thread here on the HAMB where @uncle max discussed high altitude and Stromberg 97s. You may want to hit him up.

 

I have successfully tuned over 400 vehicles, with as many as six carburetors.

I have nothing left to prove to anyone.

I build to drive, not for fun.

 

Then what do I do when I am below sea-level?

But seriously, parts of the Central Valley, and the Eastern valleys are below sea level, and falling, due to excess ground water pumping.

 

Couple hundred feet.. You’ll be okay

 

I'll stop by in May and pick that up, you don't need to enjoy that at the office...ya should be working!!!

@Tudor had shown his Weiand WCD4, 4 deuce manifold in an earlier post on this thread. I have been looking for one for a long time. Out of the clear blue, I get a PM from Mark Moriarity with an offer to own one. I wasted no time in accepting his offer and shooting the money over to him.
So, fresh and live from Mound Minnesota, now sitting in my family room in Parkville Maryland, MY WCD4 due to be installed on my 283 powered 1917 roadster pickup.

My Man-A-Fre and my Weiand 4 jug staggered manifolds were both stolen from my shop, back in '84.
Bet they miss me...

That's a great setup. Looks like the linkage address the extended throttle shafts.
