I'm wondering how the turnout was.(?) We all want to return to the good ol', pre-covid days so.........
am I detecting a little bit of unclaimed real estate between the cars? I do see some quality rides, enough to make it worth being there in the flesh, no doubt.
As a swap meet vendor, I had no choice but to roll the dice for a space at the Round-Up and another big, close-by swap meet with a blank as to what the re-scheduled date would ultimately be. These two have always been on consecutive weekends. But this year they both had to commit and step on each other's foreskins for the same date. My old bones had to go with the local (to me) venue this year. I really, really wanted to do both because together they add up to half my annual sales. It hurts on so many levels to have missed the Lone Star Round-Up.
God bless all who made the trip. You are my heroes and I will drag my old ass to the next one if I'm still kickin'.
