mustang v8 t5 ? or new t5z's

can't use the stock cross shaft?

 

i though them v6 mustang 6 speeds bolted straight up?

 

You need a transmission that doesn't have a integrated front bell and you need an adaptor.

 

There are adapters for t5 that use the stock style cross shaft

 

You can use a '51 Mercury bellhousing if you want to use the shaft and then a small adapter/spacer to a TKO/TKX/T5. Modern Driveline and Wilcap have them.
