Norm Grabowski built it but I don’t
know if he still owned it when it served as a push car. Here’s an earlier photo of it with Mamie Van Doren behind the wheel.

I believe that Kaye Trappe bought it from Norm, and that he owned it when it was pushing the Fuller, Zeuschel, and Moody dragster

  6. Exactly right Dave. He also used the T to push his own fueler too, the Winkle & Trapp "Magicar".

Gil Hayward built this car at the "North Fair Oaks Speed Shop," in Pasadena, CA. It was really nothing more than a garage, but lots of legendary Pasadena-area hot rodders used it, including Don Montgomery, Don Blair, the Dahm brothers, Holly Hedrich, Bob Rounthwaite, Tom McLaughlin, and more. Here is a Don Montgomery photo of it earlier, with Don's Hudson north fair oaks 8.jpg

There’s just something about the 1962 Ford, Pontiac and Chevrolet. They made great looking race cars as well as nice mild customs.

Just got a new trans built for my Willys by a local guy that has been around the Northwest racing scene [mostly dirt track] for a while. Always got to ask, "got any old drag race pictures?" Bingo! Not a lot but I'll scan and post what there is. Taken at the Arlington drag strip by a high schooler for a photography class.

You don’t need an idler if you're going to run it without a belt.:D

Another one before heading out to the shop. Maybe someone can ID the people and cars. That'd be fun!
