    Super nice custom Merc you got there!! Maybe it was featured in the magazines back then. Hopefully someone that has a stash could peruse them to see if its there somewhere. Good luck. Cant wait to see more pics of it.

    Awesome Historical Custom for sure @lucas doolin...any plans to give it a well deserved bath and gentle rubbing to bring back the lustre thats hiding right now?

    It certainly looks like Jimmy Summers Custom was an inspiration for it...any chance he was behind the work?...

    Right you are Stogy. When I got it in 1971 Bernie said the lacquer paint was getting thin in spots, so it'll get a deep cleaning and maybe spot it the worst spots. Will go through everything but no changes or deviations from original. The pix I posted are from around 1995 when it came from South Carolina.
