https://kustomrama.com/wiki/Frank_Rose's_1927_Ford I didn't know that...I wonder if it was his request or from the Hop-Up Staff...I didn't see mention of Hotrod Magazine...1953 was the year
I don't know the details either but if you own a Condo and the Owner sells the place shouldn't the Condo Unit Owners be compensated at current values...I suppose it was a bankruptcy thing...walk away and leave the key...sad that is...and it should be illegal to 'F' people like that, I will make an effort to help...strength in numbers as alluded... That GM concept Rocks...the Wild winged late 30s Racer is agreed. a stunner as is the Phantom...I love the pic you shared as the background highlights the typical cars of the day...so yeah it must have got the heads turning and the jaws dropping... Great Thread...for a Humpday...
You can always tell it`s Curly`s (Gary`s) shop when you see zip-lock bags of water hanging from the ceiling. He said it keeps the flies away. Damm it. Now after reading all those random thoughts. I can`t get to sleep.
I guess if you can't get it out of your system it's a ticking time bomb. It does sound crazy, but I guess it wouldn't if you were suffering from it.
On the subject of concept cars, of all those you've shown us, I believe the van is the most radical because it was designed to be used on a daily basis. As to the Starlight Coupe topped custom, I'm pretty sure that's a '52. Looking at the taillights, did the builder just turn the taillights upside down? The rear quarters appear to be mostly '52 Ford.
