    I read where you said that BobK always told you happy birthday and that you both shared the same birthday, things like that mean something, I know it's just another day and we don't celebrate them like little kids anymore, but traditions don't have to end, we just pick up where they left off and keep them going! :D

    Happy Birthday to you as well @Kiwi 4d...hope ya didn't step on any Cow Pie on your birthday...:D...here's a story...I spent some time renting a 73 foot Trailer on a farm and did some farm stuff for reduced rent and that is where I truly experienced that saying up to your ankles in shit...oh man I'm glad I never tripped and fell in it...:eek:

    That was a cool time for me...I'll never forget it...hope it was a good one...cheers mate!!!

    I guess we should give our Late friend Bob K a Happy Birthday Shout out in Spirit too...Cruising around in that Big Ole Sky...having some Angel Cake I bet...:rolleyes:

    John, I've been Danny since the day I was born, almost every school year I went through the BS of the teacher calling the roll and calling me Danial, when they did I refused to answer and when questioned I always replied that is not my name and would be sent to the principles office.

    Most times it required me bringing a copy of my birth certificate, there is absolutely noting wrong with the name Danial or Dan, but that is not may name. HRP ala Danny :D

    Obviously you ain't from around here, John. Nicknames stick for life down here. Personally, I have never understood some folks' aversion to nicknames. Guess some folks are taught that you must abandon your nickname by a certain age, but it don't work like that down here. Remember President Jimmy Carter? The list is a long one, no need to say more. I am Jimmy, have always been Jimmy, and will die Jimmy. One of my high school friends was Douglas Clarke Bentley but all anyone ever called him, including teachers, was Bullet Bentley. Just the way it is down here.

    Oh, and Happy Birthday Danny!

    Had a teacher once that wanted to use formal names like that. Tried to call me Robert? Wasn't very happy with me when I told her there wasn't an R in my name, it was Bobby, had always been and would always be!
