Hello,

A year or two ago, I took a photo of a Light Silver Blue 1936 5 window Ford Coupe sitting in an old gas station. It had the color that attracted my eye because we bought a new El Camino that was painted a similar Blue color. After trying to draw the copy of the Silver Blue 5 window coupe, I saw a 36 Ford 3 Window Coupe in a darker color, almost a deep Dark Purple.

I liked the 5 window coupe when I took some photos of the hot rod. But it was a little fact that when I went to chop the top in my drawing, the 5 window coupe looked odd and not in proportion. It did not matter how many levels of chop took place, it just did not have the good hot rod proportions.

So, I drew a 3 window coupe and started chopping the top lower and lower. Finally, there was a compromising position on paper that did not look like the hot rod got stepped on from some giant person, like 15 Shaquille O’Neal basketball players.

But for you purists, the color got within a sliver of being Black before the color Purple disappeared. So, here is a simple color of the original 36 Ford 3 window coupe with a Dark Purple color and Purple flames.

 

Its an amusement park for car guys.

 

^^^{ VONZEMO }^^^ I Really like Big Franks Boneyard! Yeah that would make a great theme ride for Disney. Just fill it with cars only found in our dreams.
