I have decided to give up and close Dick's Hot Rod Carbs, as of December 31. I have a shit load of cores and rebuild parts and other things for Holley 94, 2100, 2110, Stromberg 48, 97, and Rochester 2G, big 2G. I don't want to piece meal it out so if you have interest or know someone who may, please send them my way and I will give an interested party an incredible deal.
All the best with the future, always marvelled over how good you setups looked! I have messaged a friend Matt who may reach out about your inventory. Good luck with it all.
Thanks for the good advice a while back. I'm going to regret not having you there when I rebuild and install my 6x2 setup. Good luck with everything.
Old Friend, Thanks for your inspiration, advise and past work you’ve done for me. Hope you enjoy retirement. Taking Up another fun thing to fill up your time? Rick.
All good things must come to an end. The hot rod scene will lose a valued provider when you close up shop Dick. Thanks for the setup you did for me, and the help when I've reached out to you for advice. I hope somebody takes you up on your offer and continues providing a needed service. Best wishes.
Greetings Rick, We may do some traveling or at this stage in life just take it easy and follow the grandkids.
@dickster27, thanks for your help over the years with my 94's and as alluded you are quite the Artist in all things fueling Vintage Hotrod/Custom... Enjoy your well earned Retirement and we look forward to you chiming in when you feel the need to share the good times...
Dick, I had a feeling when I visited with you this decision was coming down the line. I'm glad I was able to get this from you before you shut down. Enjoy your future friend.
Still wanting to get rid of all my carb cores, parts pieces, supplies, equipment, and hardware. I figure I have a minimum of $15-$20 K worth and will let it all go for $5K. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
Retire and go out and have fun. Thats what I am doing, I'm a retired electrician. I don't regret it one bit!
