CadMad's Packard is the current one that comes to mind, but I also like Doctor Bad-Meat's giant speedster

    https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/seagrave-531-v12-special-build-up-in-brazil.1163715/

and ClarkH's speedster in the weeds

    https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/a-speedster-comes-out-of-the-weeds—build-thread.1003005/

There's a lot of other really great stuff out there too but these two were the first that came to mind.

The most impressive part of the good threads is that the builder remembered to stop and take pictures and share/update them. I've always been terrible at that.

Another one for me would be Brian Bass' Hemi Model A coupe on '32 rails. Photo Credit - Brian Bass

  10. Skoty Chops did some pretty nice work on a 1935 Plymouth, that thread made it obvious that time on the hamb was well spent.

The junk that Jim Sibley started with has always left me in awe. The skills shown on this and many other builds here
leave me ashamed of my poor efforts.

Bass's Chevy Fleetline sticks out to me, even though it hasn't been finished to the best of my knowledge. I'd love to get my hands on that car if it's ever available.

Its too early in the morning to remember names, but the ElCamino custom in Florida (Nads)and the Fury convertible spliced together from the barest of remains (BigM). Oh and there are 2 different 40 coups spliced together from bits, one of them burned. Oh and the guy in Nova Scotia with the 48 custom.
The talent and determination of guys that piece these projects together is awesome.

I enjoy @flamedabone 's threads. He always seems to be turning junk into bad ass cars.

Here are just a few, there are many others.

  18. The most interesting for me was the I’m building a steam powered model A by wafflemaster. Unfortunately most of the pics are gone. Incredible skills and he handled the “you’ll shoot your eye out” guys with class.

I always liked SamIyam's roadster. It was straightforward, but well-executed...and then it evolved into more of an adventure and we got to go along for the ride.

Any of Bass' builds. The fabrication there was amazing.

    I watched Paul's T really closely.

    So many more.

I hope we can update the build index as a result of the this thread.

@Roothawg - a memorable target of early HAMB cruelty.

...but it reminds me of another superior insect build - what about your Drag-N-Fly?!?!

A great example of the HAMB at its best.
