I was just browsing through old postings here and back on April 30 2020, Blue One reported gas selling for 54.9 per litre. Kind of makes me nostalgic for old times.
The speedster is getting closer to the finish line , the weather on the prairies is getting warmer , and the engine is getting warmed up .....
Little single car garage inches from the main thorouhfare into and out of East Vancouver by an awesome old wood roller coaster themed park. Cigars smoked, beer drank and parts swapped. Stop by if your in town...
Great RPU man. Assuming you're by the PNE. Would be some great pics with your ride parked by the roller coaster. That was our summer vacation every year as kids, Mom and Dad taking us to the PNE. Loved the old demolition derby!
First rip of the spring. Nothing like the smell of $10 a gallon premium! Nice to go for a cruise and take a break from the 56 build. Life's about balance!
Coming up on a year and still in the building phase....winter slowed progress down to a crawl. At some point it will resemble a 40 chevy pickup once again.
How's this for 70's period correct goodness! While I would not build my tri five this way I can appreciate this guy did not cut any corners on his dream!
Are we Canucks getting lazy?! Cruising season is here, where's all the Canadian bacon content??!! We all know our brothers to the south are sitting by their screens with a bag o popcorn waiting for more Canadian greatness!!!! Little Saturday morning cruise today before the rain is supposed to roll in. Princess Auto show in town tomorrow we'll roll down to long as the weather holds out.
You should have driven out to Rust Valley. There was a swapmeet at White Post with quite a few cars there.
Took the speedster to it’s first cruise nite , also first cruise nite at a new A & W Drive in here in Mick Jaggers favourite town .......
Well, I wore a T-shirt outside the last few days, and I installed the battery and fired up the coupe yesterday, so should be soon.
Sitting up in the air so that I could check everything out underneath and craw around with cleaning rags and also check that everything is still fastened the way it began. No problems at all. Just cleaning. Cleaned top to bottom and air pressures set. Then after that I took it down and rolled it outside for the first spring ride to put some fresh premium in the tank. $1.80 per litre. Sure hope that goes down soon.
I was able to attend the Chatham Retrofest car parade yesterday, here are a few hamb friendly Canadian cars.
Got my car all back together. Now I just need to sort out the insurance so I can get it further then just around the block
