Messing around. Here is one 327 haha. A friend gave me a 327 that he blew up. I salvaged some odd and end stuff and the rods. I traded the rest because one cylinder had about a 3 inch crack in it.
The complete engine is the one in my 66 corvette. It is about to be rebuilt. It is very clean inside. the ist pic is how it’s been since My dad got it in 1976. I took the C4b intake off and tried the Weiand On for looks. I have been thinking about running when the engine gets built. it isn’t the original engine. The numbers on it says that it is from a 1963 Fuel Injected engine.

This 327 has already spent time in a 34 Ford coupe, and is slated for another 34 coupe project I am working on now.

my high school car in 1964 250 hp 327 with ’vette covers

 

a “Corvette” 327 motor from a junkyard around 1970. …but, of course, it turned out to be only 2 bolt mains when we rebuilt it around 1990. …and it had double hump heads. 30-30 cam.

 

Mine is still on the engine stand, same as when I started this thread. I should hang my head in shame.

this 327 hasnt changed in a year, but still looks great.

 

All of us old guys have at least 1 327 story in our past.

 

You're slipping. I thought you'd have this thread fired up WAY before I got home from work.

 

...just a week or two and it'll be warm enough to dust it off and fire it up...1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2......if I'm wrong I'm sure you'll let me know...
