    I remember seeing it at the drive in lots of locals hanging out drinking beer and cheap wine.
    I had a 270hp gray primer 55 I remember after the show there was so much tire smoke you could hardly see the exit road. Those nights last forever

    Um...ok :)

    I also read that '55 actually did run 10.90's @ 127 mph. While the 10.90's might have been (almost) plausible, 10.90 @ 127 mph is not.

  12. Yes that race was earlier in the movie. I'm talking about the heads-up race at the drag strip later in the movie.
